PRINCETON, N.J. — Therapedic International has added two new licensee partners, expanding the Top 10 mattress producer’s capacity and reach in Ohio, Tennessee and other territories.
Therapedic Tennessee, owned and operated by Dutch Craft Sleep Products President Eli Schmucker, and Therapedic Ohio, owned and operated by Heritage Sleep President Zeb Troyer, join Therapedic’s more than 50 domestic and international licensees across six continents.
Across three factories near the Tennessee-Kentucky line, Therapedic Tennessee includes 180,000 square feet of manufacturing, cut and sew, and foam fabrication, Therapedic said in a release Its main campus houses research and development operations where it performs mattress testing.
Based in Orwell, Therapedic Ohio has 85,000 square feet of manufacturing and will serve customers in Ohio, western Pennsylvania and western New York.

Schmucker, a veteran of the industry who started his mattress career at age 18, said Therapedic’s licensing and merchandising tools support the strong brand story, adding that “the quality mindset of Therapedic products means they don’t come back with issues.”
Heritage Sleep’s Troyer said, “Our values align greatly with a focus on premium bedding and outstanding service. Being part of a nationally recognized brand will bring synergy that we would not have quickly found on our own.”
Therapedic is a 60-year-old mattress and sleep products manufacturer, selling to Top 100 and retail channels. In addition, its top-of-bed products are sold exclusively through Bed Bath & Beyond.
