Filling a new position at the company, Benn comes to Interlude Home from Jonathan Alder, where she has worked for just over 19 years, most recently as senior vice president, design and product, “leading the New York–based product design team and collaborating with manufacturing and sourcing partners across more than 14 countries.”

Before this she was vice president design and product development, design director and head design manager.

In her new role, she reports to Carl Phillips, president and chief executive officer and will oversee design and brand direction for Jonathan Adler collaborations and key partnerships. She also will lead design and sourcing efforts for hospitality projects for the Jonathan Adler Interior Design Studio.

“I’ve been fortunate to gain experience across so many facets of brand storytelling, creative leadership, and product development,” she said. “When I met Carl and Wendy (Phillips), I immediately connected with their shared values around brand, craftsmanship, thoughtful product development, and most especially, their commitment to the team and business they’ve built. I’m excited to enter this next chapter of my career and to partner in leading and growing the vision for Interlude Home.”

Norby fills an existing position that was vacated recently, and comes to the company from Caracole Home, where she was senior sales director and before this, vice president, sales.  Before this, she was director, sales and marketing at A.R.T. Furniture and previously was a business development executive at MicroD.  She also was previously an account executive at Curtis Media Group and Hearst Media Group and was a regional manager at Belk Department Store.

She also is the incoming 2026 President of WithIt, the women’s leadership organization in the home furnishings industry.

She reports to Carl Phillips and will oversee sales and lead the company’s sales team.

“She is passionate about building and fostering high-performing sales teams, empowering representatives to grow their businesses, while delivering exceptional service to our partners,” the company said adding, “She is passionate about connecting exceptional products with the designers and retailers who bring beautiful spaces to life, and is thrilled to bring this collaborative approach to the Interlude Home team.”
