Description: Outova is seeking a high-energy, innovative, and execution-driven Vice President to lead its outdoor living furniture category. This is a mission-critical role that will directly impact the success of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in outdoor furniture, strong leadership instincts, and the ability to translate design trends and market opportunities into real, revenue-generating product lines.
This person will lead and manage the entire furniture product line from concept through manufacturing, to go-to-market across distribution channels. This role combines product strategy, overseas sourcing & manufacturing operations, supply-chain oversight, product development (design to production), and channel marketing/merchandising. The VP is responsible for product quality, cost, margins, time-to-market, and commercial success across channels (retail, wholesale, e-commerce, etc.).
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in product development, sourcing/manufacturing, and channel merchandising — preferably with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Direct experience managing overseas manufacturing (Asia, etc.) for furniture or other durable consumer goods.
- Strong track record of launching successful products from concept to market, with proven margin and sales results.
- Experience managing P&L, budgeting, financial forecasting, cost control and margin optimization.
- Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, sourcing, QC, compliance, import/export processes.
- Channel experience: retail, big-box, e-commerce, wholesale, or contract/hospitality environments.
- Strong leadership & cross-functional management skills; demonstrated ability to build and run teams across design, sourcing, logistics, marketing, etc.
