The agency said the units are unstable if not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can harm children

WASHINGTON — The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of another clothing storage unit sold on Amazon that poses a tip-over and entrapment hazard for children.

The recall impacts 1,980 13-drawer dressers and 35 12-drawer dressers manufactured by Baituo Innovation Technology Co. Ltd., dba Romorgniz, of China.

They were sold on Amazon.com from July 2025 through October 2025 for about $140 for the 13-drawer dressers and for about $80 for the 12-drawer dressers.

Although no injuries or incidents have been reported, the CPSC said that the units are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall and pose “serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in injuries or death to children.” The agency also noted that the dressers violate the mandatory federal safety standard as required by the STURDY Act.

This recall involves Romorgniz fabric 12-drawer and 13-drawer dressers. They are available in rustic brown, black, pink and white and have a metal frame and wooden top.

The 12-drawer unit has 12 collapsible fabric drawers. The units measure about 52 inches by 12 inches by 35 inches. They also have “Model No.: R99MWM12CHMW” printed on the back.

The 13-drawer unit has 13 collapsible fabric drawers and measures about 35 inches by 11 inches by 55 inches. These also have “Model No.: R99M9C4CLHW” printed on the back.

The CPSC has advised consumers to stop using the recalled dressers immediately if they are not anchored to the wall and to put them in an area that children cannot access.

Consumers also should contact Romorgniz for instructions on how to dispose of the dressers to receive a full refund. In order to receive a full refund, they must submit a photo to Romorgnizrecall@outlook.com showing them disposing of the product.

For additional information about the recall, consumers also can reach Romorgniz via email at Romorgnizrecall@outlook.com.
