Hooker Furnishings names Adam Tilley president of Pulaski, Samuel Lawrence Furniture

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Hooker Furnishings has appointed Adam Tilley as president of case goods divisions Pulaski Furniture and Samuel Lawrence Furniture. He fills a role recently vacated by industry veteran Page Wilson, who left the company earlier this month.

The company said that Tilley, who has nearly 30 years experience in the industry, will lead the group’s strategic direction and oversee all aspects of sales and merchandising.

Tilley was most recently the founder and president of Thirty One | Twenty One Home, a division of Magnussen Home. In this role, he successfully launched the case goods resource from the initial concept to debut of several successive product introductions. At Magnussen, he also was chief product officer.

He also was previously president of Stanley Furniture and before that was senior vice president of product and marketing and vice president of merchandising at A.R.T. Furniture. Before joining A.R.T., he was vice president of product and product management at Stanley Furniture and before that was director of merchandising at Thomasville Furniture Industries.

Earlier in his career, he was a sales representative for Henredon and was in sales management at retailer Robb & Stucky.

“Adam brings a combination of creative vision and operational discipline,” said Jeremy Hoff, chief executive officer of Hooker Furnishings. “His leadership experience and deep understanding of both product and process make him exceptionally well-suited to lead Pulaski and Samuel Lawrence Furniture into their next chapter. We’re excited to welcome him to the organization.”

Hoff also said the company was “incredibly grateful to Page for his leadership, loyalty and many contributions. His strategic insight, industry relationships and steady leadership helped shape the strong foundation we have today. We wish him all the best in the future.”

In his new role, Tilley reports to Hoff.

“I’m honored to join Hooker Furnishings and lead the talented teams at Pulaski and Samuel Lawrence,” Tilley said. “This organization has a legacy of delivering style, value and quality to the market. I look forward to building on that foundation and driving future growth and innovation.”
