Linon Home Decor, Powell Home Fashions expand quick-ship motion upholstery lineup

Products are currently in stock and available from company warehouses in California and North Carolina and can be shipped within the week

LAS VEGAS — Full-line furniture resource Linon Home Decor and Powell Home Fashions have expanded their motion upholstery offerings that are available through their domestic warehouses in North Carolina and California.

The domestic warehouse program for the motion line started initially with a few push-back recliner models. The company recently has added four additional recliners retailing from $399 to $649 that can be seen at this week’s Las Vegas Market. In addition, it is warehousing two new motion upholstery groups that also can be seen here in Las Vegas.

The Keystone sectional is shown in polyester fabric. It retails around $1,499.

They include its Galloway group which offers a sofa, loveseat, recliner and a sectional with three reclining seats, and its new Keystone sectional which features two reclining seats and a cupholder and storage component.

The groups have been in stock since December, meaning that dealers can order product at market and expect to have it shipped out the door within a week, said Chris Pittman, senior vice president and national sales manager for the furniture division at Powell and sister company Linon Home Décor,

“It has been amazing,” Pittman said of the reaction here at market. “We have had some good commitments from key dealers.”

Made in Vietnam, the groups — 11 in total including the three initial recliners and the new recliners and motion collections being shown here at market — can still be shipped on full and mixed containers from Asia. However, the domestic warehouse allows dealers to order and receive smaller shipments for their floors and warehouses in a much shorter amount of time.

“This is just the start,” Pittman said of the motion offerings and shipping options available to dealers. “It is an exciting new venture for us.”

At the Las Vegas Market, Powell and Linon show in Spaces A753 and A747 of the World Market Center.
