by SALISBURY, N.C. – On October 5, Broad River Retail (BRR) celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new 45,000 sq. ft. dual-concept Ashley Store and Ashley Outlet at 815 E. Innes Street, Salisbury, NC. In addition to the grand opening festivities, BRR is celebrating its 20-year anniversary this year.
During the ceremony, BRR also presented a donation of $1,000 to Beds for Kids, a local furniture bank that collects and repurposes furnishings for families who are transitioning out of homelessness. The non-profit organization is on track to serve around 900 families in the greater Charlotte area this year.

This new Ashley Store and Outlet will be a cornerstone and staple for home furnishings and mattress shoppers within this community for years to come.”
BRR owns 30 additional Ashley retail locations and Ashley Outlets in the surrounding region. This is their 19th Ashley location in North Carolina. The Salisbury store will employ about 11 people.
The combination of an Ashley store and Ashley Outlet under one roof offers a new furniture shopping experience in the region, offering a wide variety of home furnishings.
The new location features a bedding gallery with products from Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster, Bedgear, and more. The showroom features complete lifestyle vignettes, down to the final detail of lighting, rugs and wall art. Product categories include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories. Technology enhances the environment, incorporating various elements to improve the customer shopping experience.
