IHFRA survey seeks retailer feedback on how it can improve its services, programs and initiatives

HIGH POINT — The International Home Furnishings Representatives Association is asking furniture retailers for their feedback on ways it can improve the services it provides to the industry at large.

Specifically, the 14-question survey aims to gain insights into how industry sales representatives can meet their needs more effectively.

IHFRA has done similar surveys in the past, but believes the time is right to gain additional feedback, especially given some of the challenges retailers face in the post-pandemic marketplace.

“Basically, I think since the pandemic, everybody’s expectations and responsibilities, including those of the independent sales rep, have changed,” IHFRA Executive Director Ray Allegrezza told Home News Now. “We would love them to fill out the survey to better understand their needs and share them with our reps.”

Allegrezza also shared this message with retailers on why their feedback is so important:

“As a prominent retailer in our industry, your input will guide us in determining the areas where we should concentrate our efforts, such as training, webinars and resource allocation,” Allegrezza said. “By sharing your valuable perspective, you will contribute to the development of highly skilled sales and marketing professionals and solution providers within our organization.”

IHFRA is hoping to get responses by the second week in June and will share the information with its membership. No names of responding retailers or individuals participating in the survey will be used or shared with the industry.
