In this latest Consumer Insights Now report, we look at case goods buying plans for the next six months. Sponsored by American First Finance, the report has several key takeaways. For example, 29% of consumers surveyed plan to buy primary bedroom furniture during this period, including those planning to buy a new home. And for those who have been developing products and marketing to younger consumers, the good news is that many of those consumers planning to buy bedroom furniture fall within the 18-44-year-old age group.

The report also asked consumers about their plans to buy dining furniture, both casual and formal dining. Here too, new homeowners and younger consumers make up a large percentage of those looking to buy either category.
