HIGH POINT — Industry sales veteran Jay Quimby has returned to upholstery manufacturer Man Wah Holdings as senior vice president of special accounts following a brief stint at industry startup Level Up Home, which sells the Simmons upholstery line.

Quimby last worked at Man Wah as senior vice president of sales for nearly three years from July 2022 to April this year before restarting the Simmons upholstery line. According to his LinkedIn profile, he was CEO of Level Up Home from April until last month.
Earlier in his career, he was executive vice president at Lane Home Furnishings, where he worked for more than 20 years.
In his new role, he reports to Gabriele Natale, managing director of Man Wah USA. As senior vice president of special accounts, Natale said, Quimby holds the same role he had with the company previously and is part of the leadership team that manages the company’s top clients.
“He is a strong addition to the leadership team,” Natale told Home News Now. “He is a hard worker and brings a wealth of knowledge of the industry. We are thrilled to have him back.”
With Quimby leaving Level Up Home, the future of that venture was immediately unclear, but it announced before the October High Point Market that it had signed long-term leases for the High Point and Las Vegas markets.
