HIGH POINT — Asia furniture manufacturer Green River Group is forming a new U.S. holding company for the brands it purchased and integrated into its platform last year, including case goods specialist HH2 Home and motion upholstery resource Vogue Home.

Green River owns and operates 14 furniture factories in Asia. The company said this gives each of its brands that fall under the newly formed Green River Brands a vertical business model that allows them to source products at those factories and other non-company-owned factories in Green River’s sourcing network.

“This flexibility enables each brand to manufacture products at the best facility across a wide range of product categories,” the company said.

The company noted it also has launched various initiatives to improve its operational efficiencies in the U.S. across the business. They include consolidated warehousing and distribution, a new shared ERP platform, integrated financial systems, and centralized logistics and operations.

“It’s important our retail partners understand we have strong and engaged ownership that is providing a stable platform on which to drive growth and efficiencies,” said CEO Lee Boone.

The company noted, however, that product design, merchandising, sales and marketing aspects of each business unit will remain independent and specialized in their respective market segment. “Each brand will control its own product and market-facing aspects while benefiting from shared collective resources.”

“We are very excited about the opportunities our new business model is creating,” Boone said. “Retailers are seeking strong and stable partners with owned manufacturing operations that can deliver high-value, well-made products consistently. Green River Brands are now backed by one of the best operators in Asia, allowing our operating companies to offer exceptional product development and manufacturing for the industry.”

At market, HH2 Home shows at Centers of High Point, Centennial, and Vogue Home shows at 440 S. Wrenn St.
