by SANTE FE SPRINGS, Calif. – Coaster Fine Furniture, a leading North American furniture distributor, will introduce 12 new metal bunk beds –at the Fall High Point Market. Creative sourcing is enabling the brand to offer the new collection at value price points starting at a suggested retail of $399.
The bunk beds are exclusive to Coaster in the U.S. There are silver, black or white finish options depending on the style. The beds ship KD and come with the tools necessary for assembly. As a result of a patented metal slat system, two people can easily assembly the product in 30 minutes. Each bunk bed has passed static weight tests and are CSPC compliant.
Coaster will be showing the new bunk bed collection in High Point in its second floor Annex, where they have created a unique space focused on the juvenile bedding category. Retailers will be encouraged to climb up a special set of stairs to enter the section.
“The juvenile furniture category is still very robust right now, although tariffs have made it challenging for manufacturers to source competitively priced bunk beds. We have found a solution to the challenge by sourcing good quality, good value product from a well-regarded supplier that avoids the high 95 percent China tariffs,” said Crystal Nguyen, Coaster’s vice president of merchandise and strategic product planning. “The new bunk bed line will give retailers and designers a real strategic advantage in serving their customers shopping for quality juvenile bedding solutions.”
Inventory is expected to be in Coaster warehouses in November, so as part of the brand’s bought product strategy, retailers will be able to receive deliveries within a few weeks of placing orders at Market.
