In his newly created role, in addition to continued responsibilities for FTS Furniture Fulfillment, Posa will head Expert Warehouse, the buying group’s in-house distribution arm for home furnishings and consumer technology. Recognized by manufacturers as one of the largest national accounts in the U.S., Expert Warehouse allows AVB members to purchase and finance truckload quantities of brand-name goods as needed, and at pricing once reserved for the largest chain stores.
Posa joined AVB in 2017 as Vice President of Home Furnishings following a 10-year stint at LG Electronics, where he last served as Senior Manager of National Accounts. During his tenure at AVB, he led the development of the furniture industry’s largest online retail catalog and spearheaded the launch of FTS Direct — a groundbreaking buying and wholesale financing program that provides national account-level pricing for the group’s independent dealers.
His efforts earned him two separate “rising star” awards from industry publications, including a citation as “one of the most influential voices in the furniture industry.”
In his expanded role at Expert Warehouse, Posa will oversee the division’s national purchasing and fulfillment operations while continuing to advance game-changing initiatives for BrandSource’s furniture and bedding dealers.
