The agency also said the Chinese company that sold the products as Elitespace Home has not agreed to recall the mattresses or offer a remedy to consumers
WASHINGTON — The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of 52,100 mattresses sold on Amazon because of a potential fire hazard that can injure or kill users of the product.
The recall involves the 10-inch Elitespace Hybrid Mattresses made in Taiwan and sold on Amazon from September 2023 through May 2025 for about $280.

The agency said the mattresses violate the requirements of the mandatory mattress standard for flammability, which poses a fire hazard. In addition, the CPSC said, the mattresses also do not have required labeling.
The 10-inch hybrid mattresses come in full and queen and have a white knit top panel and gray and white side panels. They are labeled with the size and the statement “This mattress is intended to be used without a foundation or with foundation(s) WG/P Foundation.” This can be found printed on labels at the bottom seam of the product.
The agency urges consumers to stop using the mattresses immediately and dispose of them. They are also advised to not sell or give away the recalled products.
The CPSC also said it issued a Notice of Violation to the Chinese company that sold the products, which does business as Elitespace Home. However, it said that Elitespace Home has not agreed to recall the mattresses or offer a remedy to consumers.
