TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. — Upholstery manufacturer Craftmaster has appointed industry veteran Sandi Mowry vice president of merchandising.

She comes to the company from Hooker Furnishings, where she spent nearly 15 years, most recently as senior vice president of merchandising and key account sales at HF Custom and vice president of sales and merchandising at Sam Moore. She also previously was vice president of upholstery merchandising at Sam Moore and director of Hooker Upholstery.
Earlier in her career, she was director of merchandising at King Hickory Furniture and vice president of merchandising and design at Morgan Stewart Furniture and market coordinator at Cochrane Furniture.
She succeeds Suzanne Henson, who the company said is pursuing a career opportunity in the textile business.
In her new role, Mowry reports to Craftmaster President Alex Reeves, whom she previously worked with at Sam Moore.
“Sandi was instrumental in developing merchandising initiatives, driving sales growth and contributing to our overall success during our time together at Sam Moore Furniture,” Reeves said. “We are thrilled to welcome her to the Craftmaster team and look forward to her leadership in shaping our merchandising strategy and future growth.”
