Sean Slack promoted to director, product development at Deco Marché

ERLANGER, Ky. — Industry veteran Sean Slack has been promoted to director of product development at home furnishings resource Deco Marché.

Slack, who has more than 34 years of industry experience, has been with the company since September 2016 according to his LinkedIn profile, serving as senior furniture buyer before being named to the new position in May.

Before this, he was an industry consultant for just over three years having previously been executive vice president of merchandising at case goods resource Folio21.

For nearly nine years prior, he also was executive vice president of merchandising at Powell Co. and earlier in his career was vice president of merchandising and national sales manager at upholstery manufacturer the Lane Co.

Deco Marché was recently in the news, having acquired the assets of UMA Home, which recently expanded its own furniture portfolio at the spring High Point Market.
