Polish manufacturer Krysiak offering finished, unfinished goods at market

HIGH POINT — Krysiak, a leading Polish manufacturer of design-driven case goods, is back for its third outing at its showroom on the fifth floor of the C&D Building.

While keeping its tradition of showing buyers stylish new finished goods, the company also is here to offer turnkey solutions for suppliers looking for a dependable and affordable source of unfinished predrilled and prefinished components.

According to company principal Marcin Krysiak, who represents the third generation in the business, “The volatile and ever-changing situation with tariffs, coupled with the highly volatile ocean freight rates, has created a very uncertain landscape for the furniture sector.”

This extension dining table showcases the capabilities of Krysiak, a Polish furniture manufacturer showing here at market.

He went on to observe that these headwinds have created an unprecedented demand for flexibility, speed to market and just-in-time inventory, all strengths of Krysiak, he maintains.

“These are key features that U.S. retailers are looking for right now. And while there may be a trend to reindustrialize in America, it is not a simple or quick process to get those facilities up and running at a point where they can rapidly build capacity and fill the pipeline,” Krysiak said.

The interim and smart solution, Krysiak believes, is for U.S. customers to properly scale their businesses by forming partnerships with a company that can supply both finished goods and unfinished components that can be assembled here.

To that end, Krysiak says his company, which specializes in high-quality solid and veneer case goods using oak, walnut, cherry or elm, can produce and deliver components that arrive varnished or finished with natural oils.

The manufacturer also produces beautiful case pieces as seen with this buffet.

Krysiak also said his workforce of more than 150 employees is ready to service U.S. customers with cut-to-order components and OEM production.

The company, which was officially founded as a family business in 1990, currently offers five decades of furniture experience and sells both premium finished goods and made-to-order components throughout Europe.

“Thanks to our ongoing investment in modern technologies, we have been able to constantly expand our network of cooperation, attracting new partners throughout the world,” Krysiak said.

The solution that Krysiak is offering to domestic furniture manufacturers is flexibility, a wide variety of designs and finishes and short lead times of four to six weeks.

“Delivery times are also four to six weeks and when you factor in favorable freight rates that are low for a European Union-based partner, this makes an already attractive partnership even more attractive,” Krysiak said.
