Taylor King partners with Intiaro on advanced 3D visualizer and configurator

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Custom upholstery manufacturer Taylor King has launched a robust 3D product visualizer and configurator, developed in close collaboration with industry leading 3D/AR technology provider Intiaro. The new tool debuted at the recent High Point Market, featuring Taylor King’s highly complex sectional, Sausalito, with 38 customizable pieces and extensive modular configurations.

Created with trade professionals in mind, the platform provides a powerful and easy-to-use digital tool for Taylor King’s primary customer base of interior designers and architects by enabling real-time visualization of product configurations, fabric and finish selections, and downloadable tear sheets complete with aerial line drawings of the customized product.

“The depth and quality of the visualization far exceeded our expectations,” said Cass Key, creative director at Taylor King. “The Sausalito sectional has endless options, and Intiaro delivered a tool that brings clarity and confidence to that complexity.”

Christy Smith, special projects manager, added, “What truly stands out about working with Intiaro is their professionalism, responsiveness, and deep knowledge of our industry. They knew what to ask before we did and drilled down to details that we hadn’t thought of, helping us avoid common pitfalls. That insight made the process smoother and the results better.”

For Taylor King, investing in this technology was driven by both dealer demand and a desire to remain competitive in the digital space. The configurator is accessible across devices with the ability to embed the tool directly onto dealer websites.

A key functionality—one that was especially important to the Taylor King team—is the ability to generate aerial line drawings within tear sheets, a practical feature for design professionals working on complex space plans.

“Customization is at the heart of what we do, and this new visualizer takes that experience to the next level,” said Key. “Partnering with Intiaro gives us the ability to meet the expectations of today’s digital-savvy design clients, helping them envision every detail before they place an order.”

The Sausalito launch on the new 3D tool is just the beginning. Taylor King will work with Intiaro to integrate the Sausalito configurator on its dealer websites. The brand also plans to expand its digital library to include additional collections, fabrics and finishes over time, to reflect the brand’s strength in fabric customization and to reinforce its commitment to client-centric service in the luxury furnishings space.

To ensure a smooth rollout, members of the Intiaro team were on-site in Taylor King’s showroom during the April market to provide training and support to sales representatives. The live onboarding experience helped the team begin using the configurator with confidence from day one.

“This is more than a digital tool. It’s an extension of the craftsmanship and customization that defines the Taylor King brand, and we’re proud to be partnered with them in their journey to elevate the buying experience for their discerning customers,” said Michal Stachowski, chief commercial officer for Intiaro.
