CIN Week 5 offers industry a look at high end furniture shopping plans

In this fifth and final installment of Consumer Insights Now, sponsored by American First Finance, we look at the customer for higher end furniture. A key takeaway is that these furniture shoppers are generally middle-aged or older (older millennials, Generation X and baby boomers) and have higher incomes ($100,000 or more). Most also plan to buy through brick-and-mortar furniture stores.

The survey also offers insights into what these consumers plan to purchase and how much they plan to spend on different items such as a sofa, a bedroom suite or a casual or formal dining set.
