Breaking News: Linon Home Decor acquires assets of accent furniture specialist Coast to Coast

The company said the purchase includes all tangible and intangible business and personal property assets, intellectual property, plus millions of dollars in finished goods inventory.

MINEOLA, N.Y. — Case goods, seating and accent furniture specialist Linon Home Decor Products Inc. has completed its purchase of accent furniture and case goods specialist Coast to Coast Imports LLC.

The company said the purchase closed through a federal court order — in this case, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee — on April 11.

The court has supervised a proceeding involving the accent furniture specialist being placed in receivership last summer after lender Fifth Third Bank said the company defaulted on some of its financial obligations and parties agree that it is unable to manage its affairs because of lack of cash.

The purchase by Linon includes all tangible and intangible business and personal property assets, intellectual property as well as millions of dollars in finished goods inventory.

The company said in addition to owning all Coast to Coast Branding and product listings, it also has acquired intellectual property and trademarks for Coast2Coast Home, Accents by Andy Stein, Jadu Accents, Treasure Trove Accent Furniture and Pieces in Paradise.

As part of the purchase, the company said that it is relaunching the Coast to Coast Imports brand under the Linon umbrella, which includes Linon Home Décor and Powell Home Fashions.

“Coast to Coast was never just a product line — it was a design voice with a loyal following and a strong retail presence,” said Jim Ziozis, president and chief executive officer of Linon Home Decor Products. “We’re proud to carry that legacy forward, ensuring the brand’s continuity and protecting its integrity in the market.”

Linon said it will showcase the “revitalized Coast to Coast collection” at the April High Point Market, with its showroom in Suite 100 of 200 S. Main St. open April 23-30. Retailers will be able to buy from an inventory of more than 500 items that are “in stock and ready for sale, supported by the company’s national distribution and customer service infrastructure.”

“While others are focused on short-term disruption, we are focused on long-term value — for our partners, stakeholders and for the Coast to Coast brand itself,” Ziozis added. “We are not just maintaining the collection — we are investing in it. New product development under the Coast to Coast label is already underway, backed by our global sourcing capabilities and proven operational scale.”
