Job Title: Strategic Accounts & Business Development Manager – Hospitality

Description: The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for identifying and developing large strategic account opportunities to expand the addressable market for Milliken Hospitality at national hotel brands and beyond. This person must be a leader and will work closely with all customer channels, Milliken sales associates, Regional Managers, and other cross-functional teams within Milliken & Company. Primary responsibilities include targeted account selling and the creation and execution of special projects that lead to transformative sales growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Knowledge of marketing and sales terminology, concepts and business operating procedures.
- Willingness to travel frequently to develop opportunities with assigned target accounts, approximately 30% required travel
- Proficient computer experience including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and related applications.
- Experience in business writing concepts and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, problem-solving capability, and resourcefulness.
