Bo Morrison joins Henglin Home North America as vice president, sales

HIGH POINT — Upholstery manufacturer Henglin Home North America has named Bo Morrison vice president of sales, a newly created position that encompasses the roles of some individuals who have left the company.

In his new position, he reports to company President of North America Operations Todd Evans and will oversee the sales and merchandising teams and also help grow the business in alternative channels of distribution. He also will oversee some of Henglin’s OEM side of the business.

Morrison comes to the company from Man Wah Holdings, where he was vice president of sales. Before this, he was vice president of sales at MotoMotion Furniture and was previously president at Prime Resources International.

He also was previously vice president of upholstery at Standard Furniture Manufacturing and director of national accounts at Ashley. Earlier in his career, he held executive-level positions at Lane and Broyhill and Berkline, where he was director of sales and director of merchandising.

Morrison last worked with Evans at Standard, where he helped develop and grow the motion upholstery side of the business.

“It has been a little over 10 years,” Evans said of when he first started working with Morrison at Standard. “We are reunited and I am happy to have him on board. Bo has a lot of experience in merchandising, and he has a great reputation with retailers and a lot of experience since he left Standard in the alternative channels. So all of those things were attractive to us.”
