VENICE BEACH, Calif. — After testing the U.S. market with a New York City pop-up in late 2025, Canadian direct-to-consumer furniture retailer Cozey is expanding to the West Coast. On April 8, Cozey will open a pop-up showroom in Venice Beach, California, on Abbot Kinney Boulevard.
According to the company, Cozey’s Los Angeles pop-up underscores Cozey’s commitment to expanding its physical retail footprint to meet growing customer demand in key markets.
The 5,000-square-foot showroom will showcase the brand’s signature modular sofas, washable rugs and the new Shinuk Outdoor Collection, a line of customizable wicker furniture designed for the California climate.
“This opening is another exciting milestone in Cozey’s retail journey,” said Frédéric Aubé, founder and CEO of Cozey. “Since launching our U.S. e-commerce offering in late 2023, the market has become a significant driver of growth for the business, and our pop-up retail model has helped us learn how important a physical presence is for our customers. Los Angeles is now our second-largest U.S. market, making it a natural destination in our brick-and-mortar retail roadmap.”
Cozey has steadily been building momentum with brick-and-mortar retail. In November 2025, the company opened a permanent store in Vancouver, and in February, another location in Calgary, Alberta. Later this year, Cozey plans to open stores in Montreal and New York, following the success of its pop-ups in both cities. Cozey also will expand to the Asia-Pacific region, with a launch planned in Australia later this year.
The Cozey Los Angeles pop-up will be open until December. The shop is located at 1220 Abbot Kinney Blvd. in Venice Beach. The showroom operates from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
