CommerceBear launches self-serve platform aimed at ending missed online revenue

TORONTO — CommerceBear has launched a fully self-serve platform, giving manufacturers immediate visibility into SKUs that are offline, helping eliminate missed revenue.

Having worked with many Top 100 home furnishings suppliers, CommerceBear has helped power more than 1 million SKUs across all major online retailers. Many suppliers lose revenue because they lack visibility into which listings are active, inactive or miscategorized. Manufacturers can now onboard themselves and immediately track their catalog across retail channels.

Connection with Wayfair’s Catalog API

This release builds on CommerceBear’s integration with Wayfair’s Catalog API. Manufacturers can now connect directly through the Wayfair Partner Home Portal by pasting a secure encrypted key. This fast, clean, frictionless authentication flow unlocks immediate visibility into listing gaps, inconsistent catalog data and opportunities for incremental revenue. Onboarding that once took days or weeks now takes seconds.

The Leaky Bucket: Offline Listings = Missed Revenue

In home furnishings, a staggering amount of revenue is missed because listings sit in the wrong state, unpublished, incomplete, mismapped, rejected or simply stuck.

A single SKU in the wrong bucket means no visibility and results in no sales. Multiplied across the entire catalog of SKUs, suppliers routinely miss out on significant sales. Or worse, incorrect states lead to short shipments or order cancellations, which negatively impact rank and score.

“Manufacturers are navigating tariffs, demand uncertainty and tighter margins yet most still lack a clean view of their full online catalog,” said Sam Vlessing, CEO of CommerceBear. “Folks shouldn’t be blind to SKU health or listing gaps. With this announcement we are removing that blind spot and giving everyone tools to fix it.”

Instant, Real-Time Catalog Health: No Integration Required

In the spirit of this holiday season and to accelerate adoption across the industry, CommerceBear is offering free access for the rest of the year to all manufacturers who sign up before Dec. 31.

Availability: Manufacturers selling on Wayfair (and Wayfair family of sites), Amazon, Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond and Houzz, can begin using the platform immediately.
