Woodhaven Furniture names Phil Devero director, sales and business development

CAIRO, Ga. — Upholstery manufacturer Woodhaven Furniture has hired industry veteran Phil Devero as director of sales and business development, a new position.

He comes to the company from Jamie Young Co., where he was senior vice president of sales for about four and a half years. Before this, he was vice president of sales at both Digio Leather and Kuka Home. He also was previously vice president of sales at Powell Home Fashions and director of sales at Cheyenne Products.

Earlier in his career, he was a senior marketing specialist and independent representative for Ashley for more than 20 years.

The company said this newly created leadership position aims to accelerate Woodhaven’s growth and strengthen its position in the U.S. market.

Devero will report to Tommy Harper, president of Woodhaven Furniture, and will oversee national sales execution, expand the company’s market presence, build and manage the sales team and develop key retail partnerships.

“His efforts will focus on driving revenue growth, expanding distribution and positioning Woodhaven Furniture for long-term success,” the company said.
