8,000-square-foot space will showcase a wider mix of Canadian company’s upholstery and wood furniture lineup
HIGH POINT — Contemporary Canadian upholstery and wood furniture specialist Trica Furniture is moving to a new showroom at 220 Elm for the High Point Market.
The company previously occupied a space on the seventh floor of the Design Wing of the International Home Furnishings Center. It will now show in an 8,000-square-foot space on the fourth floor of 220 Elm, next to Palliser, EQ3, Kalora and Greenington.

“After 30 years of exhibiting in High Point, I’m as proud as ever to showcase Trica,” said François Caron, president. “Every market is a chance to reconnect with our customers, and doubling our space to over 8,000 square feet next to Palliser makes this moment even more exciting. … Trica is especially proud to become part of 220 Elm, a building dedicated to contemporary furniture and recognized as a true destination for the industry during High Point Market.”
In the new space, the company will be able to showcase more of its full line of customizable upholstery including sofas and sectionals. Many of its sofas feature powder-coated steel bases that complement the designs and materials found in its steel-frame display units, occasional table bases and accent chair frames.
The company also offers a line of bar stools available in custom fabrics and painted finishes for the metal frames.

Other categories the company offers include upholstered and wood beds and storage pieces and dining tables that also feature metal frames and bases available in custom metal finishes.
The company is celebrating its new showroom with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that takes place at 5 p.m. Oct. 24. A party will follow until around 7 p.m. featuring food and drinks “as the company toasts to this new chapter with its valued partners and friends.”
