HIGH POINT — Case goods resource Riverside Furniture has announced an executive-level restructuring that places industry veteran Harrison “H” Kelly in the role of president.
Kelly fills a role previously held by executive Fred Henjes, who remains chief executive officer.

Kelly has been with the company since May 2021 as vice president of development.
He has more than 30 years of industry experience. He was vice president of product development at Pulaski Furniture from May 1995 through September 2018.
He then joined Klaussner as vice president of product development, case goods, in September 2018 and later was promoted to senior vice president of case goods in January 2020, a role he held before joining Riverside in May 2021.
In his new role as president, the company said, Kelly will be responsible for driving “cross-functional alignment across product, sales and operations. His leadership centers on strengthening product strategy, building meaningful consumer relationships and delivering consistent value through collaboration and innovation.”
Henjes said he is pleased that H has assumed the role of president, a position he noted has been open for nearly five years.
“I held that position open, and when I looked at my succession plan, and who I wanted to make president, I looked at H and have studied him for a period of time,” Henjes told Home News Now. “I think his skill set closely matches that of mine and he is a natural successor.”
Reporting to Henjes, Kelly said he is pleased to lead the company into its next phase of development.
“Our future is about clarity — connecting our teams more closely, listening to our customers and bringing thoughtful, relevant product to market. I’m proud to be a part of what’s next for Riverside.”
