Description: As the Home Furnishing Business Manager, developing retail sale strategies to maximize growth and profitability, you will drive the long-term growth of the business through the development of commercial offers, sales techniques and activities through all channels. You will also play an active role in sustainability initiatives by incorporating sustainability priorities into the product offerings, such as promoting energy-efficient lighting options. The person in this role is responsible for managing the product range, sizing, and pricing strategy for the Home Furnishing Business (HFB) to meet customer demands.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in working with commercial planning, sales or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading co-workers.
- Strong understanding of financial reports, budgeting, and key metrics with the ability to apply financial insights to support business planning and decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Proficiency using Power BI for data analysis.
- Experience in retail, preferably home furnishing sector.
- Experience in Sales, Business Management, Marketing or equivalent.
- Experience in planning, driving output and measuring business performance.
- Experience in Product Development (preferred).
