by HIGH POINT — Industry product design professional Blair Barham has been named director of product development for bedroom and dining at case goods specialist Riverside Furniture.
He comes to the company from Hooker Furnishings, where he was a designer at HMI Group, a division that includes Pulaski and Samuel Lawrence Furniture.
Previously he was a designer at Furniture Design Associates, a design firm in High Point, for nearly nine years and before that worked for Ransome Design, also in High Point.
A graduate of the Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he also handled in-house product design at Schnadig and before this worked in furniture design at Furniture Design Associates.
In his new position, he will oversee the design and development of bedroom and dining, two of the primary wood categories at Riverside Furniture.
