Description:
Production Planning & Scheduling:
- Assist in creating daily Master-Planned Production Schedules based on pull system and truck schedule.
- Support monitoring production activities and adjusting daily schedules for on-time delivery.
- Material & Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with the material procurement team to ensure all necessary materials for production are in stock.
- Assist in determining and ensuring Finished Good stock is maintained.
- Create, maintain, and modify Bills of Material (BOMs) based upon data received from purchasing, marketing, sales, and product development teams.
- Create, maintain, and modify material part numbers.
- Validate finished goods standard costing.
- Maintain accurate trading good inventory.
Data Analysis & Reporting: - Prepare operational models to help streamline workflows.
- Prepare and distribute daily and monthly reports (KPIs, Productivity, Financials) that identify, explain, and evaluate problems and available solutions.
- Maintain daily reports on production planning and outbound shipments.
Project Management & Standardization: - Collaborate with company-wide standardization initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement, quality control, customer service, receiving, shipping, sales, marketing, and operations on new product introductions to ensure part numbers are issued, bills of material are updated, and systems are updated accurately.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives (6S, 6 Sigma, Lean).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with production scheduling.
- Experience in utilizing a scheduling module within an ERP system; SAP experience preferred.
- Solid analytical problem-solving skills.
