Welcome to our second annual ranking of the Home News Now 125 Furniture and Bedding Retailers. The 125 listing is ranked by estimated 2022 furniture and bedding sales in the U.S. and includes both brick-and-mortar stores and e-tailers. Accessories, rugs and other revenue sources are not included. In the case of a tie, retailers are ranked by the percentage growth of furniture/bedding sales between 2021 and 2022.
All sales figures are estimates in millions of dollars and were compiled from a variety of sources including retailer input, publicly-held company SEC filings, news releases, store websites and industry news reports. Some calculations were also based on 2022 growth estimates from the U.S. Department of Commerce for furniture and home furnishings stores. Rent-to-own retailers were excluded from the ranking.
We published the first group of retailers ranked 101-125 last week and will continue with 25 additional entries each week through the week of June 11. This is our second installment which starts out with Sit N’ Sleep ranked at 76 and ends with Direct Buy/Z Gallerie ranked at 100.
